A Doctor of Audiology is trained to do much more than merely sell hearing aids. They provide a full range of hearing care services, along with complete and accurate information. We understand that selecting the right hearing aids is just the beginning of dealing with your hearing loss. That’s why we offer a variety of related services designed to improve the quality of your life.
Before purchasing your hearing aids, our doctors will perform a hearing evaluation. We will use the results of this test, along with your personal preferences, to determine which hearing aids would give you the most satisfaction. Of
After you have received your hearing instruments, you will be asked to schedule several follow-up visits. We want to be sure that you are hearing well, and that you are happy with your hearing aids. During these visits, your doctor will discuss additional skills that make living with a hearing loss that much easier. Alison Wyss, Au.D.
Dr. Alison Wyss, Au.D., CCC-A graduated from Indiana University with her Bachelors of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences in 2007, and with her Doctorate in Audiology in 2010. She spent over a decade with a local ENT practice as a clinical Audiologist, when she decided it was time for her to move into private practice.
Dr. Wyss enjoys visiting with her patients, learning what motivates them to want to hear better. She is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association. When Dr. Wyss is not at Meridian Audiology seeing patients, she is enjoying time at home with her two children, Luke and Julia, her husband Ben and their rescue pup Sophie! Dr. Wyss looks forward to meeting you soon and helping you hear all there is to love about life!
Kira VonBlon, M.S., F-AAA
Kira VonBlon, M.S., F-AAA graduated from Purdue University with her Bachelors of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences in 1996, and with her Master’s Degree in Audiology in 1998. She started her career at Riley Children’s Hospital and spent 16 years with a local ENT practice as a clinical Audiologist. She is excited to have now partnered with Dr. Ali Wyss in the private practice setting. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the Indiana Speech and Hearing Association.
Kira enjoys building a relationship with her patients while helping to improve their quality of life with today’s innovative technology. When Kira is not at Meridian Audiology seeing patients, she is enjoying time with her two children, Jackson and Tommi, her husband Todd, making frequent trips to Purdue for football and basketball, and playing with her 3 dogs! Kira looks forward to meeting you and walking with you on your hearing healthcare journey.
