What to Expect
Everyone’s a little nervous the first time they visit someplace new. We’d like every visit to our office to be as comfotable as possible for each of our patients. Here’s a little bit about what to expect during the typical initial visit to our office. The audiologist will begin by asking questions that pertain to your ears and hearing. This is so we can collect as much information about your condition as possible. The audiologist will complete a battery of tests that are designed to tell us how different parts of your ears and hearing are working.
We like to end the visit by making sure you understand everything we did during the visiting. We’ll spend time answering any questions you might have because your journey to better hearing should be a partnership with you and your hearing healthcare provider. Part of that journey should be to ensure that you are well informed about your any problems we find and all possible solutions.
